Newsmax television anchor Bob Sellers issued an apology Wednesday for storming off a live set during an interview with My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell.
The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon during the American Agenda show.
Sellers and Lindell were scheduled to discuss free speech and Lindell’s recent Twitter ban but the conversation diverted when the embattled pillow mogul started to talk about election fraud.
Lindell asserted that he had “100 percent proof” that there was voter fraud with Dominion machines. “Can I ask our producers—can we get out of here, please?” Sellers asked shortly before his impromptu exit.
Sellers repeatedly interrupted Lindell during his rant, refuting his claims and telling the audience that Newsmax had not been able to independently verify claims of fraud involving Dominion.
“If you watched American Agenda yesterday, you may have seen something out of the ordinary happen during an interview with Mike Lindell, the CEO of MyPillow,” said Sellers. “I was frustrated that we couldn’t focus on the current, very pressing issue of free speech and cancel culture and, in hindsight, there is no question that I could have handled the end of the interview differently.”
Sellers ended his apology by directing his viewers to another interview Newsmax conducted with Lindell and Rob Schmitt.
