Nationally syndicated radio host Kim Komando recently helped an Arizona grocery store chain get its COVID vaccine program off the ground.
Mike McKinley, the director of pharmacy for the Bashas’ grocery chain was also a longtime listener to The Kim Komando Show. Frustrated with the inability to get information out to the public, McKinley emailed Komando for help.

Komando facilitated meetings between state officials and Bashas’ grocery company and eventually the Arizona Department of Health Services.
The grocery store chain struck a deal with the state to white label the state’s web application for vaccine scheduling to the grocery chain.
