Buffalo radio station WBEN 930 AM is moving on from The Rush Limbaugh show and filling the time with the station’s talent. Management plans to expand its midday and afternoon shows, according to the Buffalo News.
Beginning on April 5, the David Bellavia show air from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and Tom Bauerle’s program will air from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
“This lineup gives us the ability to super-serve the market with the most compelling stories and topics on the minds of people in Buffalo and Western New York and establishes us as THE go-to outlet for full LIVE coverage all day long,” said operations manager and program director, Tim Wenger.
A New Morning co-host Brian Mazurowski will be paired with producer Joe Beamer for a new one-hour show that will air from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
News anchor Tom Puckett will host a one-hour news show airing from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to fill the void left by Bauerle’s shift.
Limbaugh’s show will continue on hundreds of Premiere Network affiliates across the country. The network has been using guest hosts and archived sound of Limbaugh ever since he passed away from complications due to lung cancer on Feb. 17.
