MLB Network Providing 17 Straight Hours of Opening Day Coverage

The Major League Baseball season is here and the MLB Network will have every corner of Opening Day covered. 

In a press release, MLB Network announced that they would be providing baseball fans 17 consecutive hours of coverage beginning at 9:00 a.m. ET on Thursday. Stephen Nelson and Kevin Millar start the day as they make their “Intentional Talk” regular-season debut. 

Afterward, at 10:00 a.m. ET Robert Flores, Mark DeRosa, and Lauren Shehadi takes the baton as they begin the seventh season of “MLB Central,” with their coverage going until 1:00 p.m. ET.

Meanwhile, “MLB Tonight” will run for 12 hours and features Scott Braun, Fran Charles, Brian Kenny, Adnan Virk, Ron Darling, Carlos Peña, Dan Plesac, Harold Reynolds, Bill Ripken, and Buck Showalter. The group will provide live look-ins of games in progress, Studio 42 demonstrations, and analysis. 

Lauren Gardner will put a bow on MLB Network’s 17 straight hours of coverage as she hosts “Quick Pitch” at 1:00 a.m. ET to recap the day’s action.
