Seattle’s 770 KTTH is adding Dan Bongino’s radio show to its lineup effective Monday, the station announced. Westwood One, which is syndicating the show, announced that Bongino will welcome former President Donald Trump as his first-ever guest.
The show has already been picked up in markets such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.
“We’re excited to welcome Dan to the KTTH family,” said KTTH program director, Jason Antebi. “I can’t think of many people better suited to carry the torch in this daypart. This isn’t a ‘Rush replacement show’ because no one can replace Rush. He will always be the greatest broadcaster in history. KTTH, in part, has become what it is because of him.”
While there are still hundreds of stations that are still carrying the Rush Limbaugh Show, many are opting out using a combination of local and national talent to fill the void. Some Audacy stations will reportedly air the Dana Show starring Dana Loesch.
“I’m honored KTTH decided to go with the show,” Bongino said. “All I can do is bring a high-quality product, put a ton of work into it and I promise, I will never waste the audience’s time. I don’t just tell you stories to tell you stories. People don’t want their time wasted. They want to know why the news matters.”
