iHeart’s Black Information Network Expands to Jacksonville

The Black Information Network brand is expanding, iHeartMedia announced last week.

BIN, which was launched as a 24-hour news operation dedicated to covering the Black community, will now be heard in Jacksonville, Florida on BIN 104.1 FM.

“We are thrilled to have the BIN: Black Information Network expand its reach across the country,” BIN president Tony Coles said. “We are honored to welcome the Jacksonville market, a community with a deep and rich Black heritage.”

Last June, iHeartMedia debuted BIN on 15 stations and along the company’s vast audio streaming service.

“BIN takes pride in being the most trusted source for both local and national news in the Black community, and Jacksonville deserves a full-time news service by and for the Black community,” said Coles.
