There will be some new faces on Newsmax as former President Trump administration members will be joining the network, The Hill reports.
Ex-campaign’s legal adviser Jenna Ellis and spokesperson and deputy White House press secretary Hogan Gidley are the newest Newsmax contributor.
According to the announcement, Ellis will use her legal and faith-based expertise to comment on the 2022 and 2024 elections. Meanwhile, Gidley will serve as a political analyst.
A Newsmax spokesperson stated the network signed deals with Ellis and Gidley in the last few weeks but didn’t discuss the financial terms of the arrangements. Ellis joined the Trump legal team to fight the results of the 2020 presidential election based on baseless accusations of total voter fraud.
Gidley worked for the White House media team since 2017. However, he would take over as the campaign national press secretary for Trump from Kayleigh McEnany, who became White House press secretary.
