A former NFL quarterback and accomplished sports media personality will soon dabble in the world of news/talk radio.
Sean Salisbury made the announcement on social media Thursday. The Houston-based host will launch the Sean Unfiltered Show. It will air weeknights on Houston’s KPRC 950.
“I am extremely excited and grateful to iHeart radio and my big boss who signed me to add an evening news/talk show to my radio schedule,” Salisbury posted. “This is over and above my AM drive sports show every morning. I love being able to venture outside of sports.”
Salisbury was hired by SportsTalk 790 three years ago after spending time at ESPN 97.5 and SB Nation Radio. SB Nation Radio now operates as the SportsMap Radio Network. Sean played for three different teams over the course of ten NFL seasons. He also enjoyed a lengthy and successful run on television as a football analyst with ESPN.
