Mark Miller and David Moulton will not be heard on FOX Sports Radio Southwest Florida anymore. Moulton tweeted the news on Monday that Sun Broadcasting had let the duo go. The station’s program director, John Cassio, declined to comment for a story in The News Press.
This was the second stop for the pair. They had been with the station for four years. Previously, they hosted at crosstown rival 99.3 ESPN.
David Moulton is well-connected in the sports media world. Beyond his local radio show, he also did work for SiriusXM and served as the voice of Florida Gulf Coast University. He also has worked as a spotter for CBS and FOX Sports on football broadcasts.
Mark Miller has stayed very busy outside the broadcast industry with work in marketing positions both inside and outside of the sports world. He joked that his next gig may be in the music world.
The duo owns MillerandMoulton.com and have hinted at hopes there will be an “act 3” for Miller & Moulton. If that were not to materialize on local radio, it is possible that the show could become a digital product.
