A former producer and fiancé for California gubernatorial candidate and nationally syndicated radio host Larry Elder has reportedly filed a report with Los Angeles police for domestic violence, according to Politico.
Alexandra Datig broke off an 18-month relationship with Elder. The alleged incidents took place in 2015 but Datig said that she didn’t file the reports back then out of fear.
“It’s time to draw the line,” Dating said in an interview Wednesday. “I am not the one who has to come clean about my life. He is.”
Dating told Politico that she felt pressure from Elder to have an “open relationship” and “unwanted sexual activity,” which she said she rejected.
Dating also said that Elder threatened her with a pistol that he took from his nightstand.
“He proceeded to open the drawer and reached inside for his .45 caliber revolver,” Dating told Politico. “Making sure the firearm was in my view, he opened the cylindrical, rotating part of the revolver checking to make sure the gun was loaded with cartridges. He proceeded to close the cylinder, again, making sure the firearm was in my view and then proceeded to put the firearm back in the drawer.”
