ESPN Signs Dianna Russini To Multi-Year Extension

Dianna Russini is entering her fifth football season with ESPN, and it appears to be far from her last. The network announced on Friday that it had signed Russini to a multi-year contract extension.

“It’s such a special time to be covering the NFL, and there’s no better place to be doing it than at ESPN,” Russini said in a press release. “I’m thrilled to be part of such a talented team—and I’m excited about the years to come.”

Russini is currently on maternity leave. She recently gave birth to her first child, a boy names Michael.

When she returns to work, Dianna Russini will continue contributing reports and commentary to Sunday NFL Countdown, Fantasy Football Now, SportsCenter, Get Up and ESPN Radio.

“Dianna is so passionate about covering the NFL, and it shows in every assignment she works on,” ESPN vice president of production, Seth Markman said. He called Russini “a terrific example of how hard work pays off.”
