ESPN’s The Undefeated has hired Ed Guzman. He will serve as the site’s deputy editor of sports. He will be based in Portland, OR.
Guzman has 20 years of experience in the industry and is an award-winning editor. He comes to The Undefeated after four years in communications leadership roles with government and non-profit entities focused on policies that impact people from racially and culturally diverse backgrounds. He has previously worked for The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Oregonian.

“We are very pleased to have Ed join us. He is a seasoned sports editor with experience in the social justice space. Ed will help elevate our enterprise reporting and topical content at the intersections of sports, race, and culture,” added Raina Kelly, ESPN Vice President and Editor-in-Chief of The Undefeated.
