FOX Sports is holding on to one of their key contributors. Barrett Sports Media has learned that the network has resigned Ric Bucher to a new multiyear deal.
Bucher joined the network in April 2019. Since then he’s been utilized as an NBA analyst on all FOX Sports shows, and as a fill-in host on Speak For Yourself, which is regularly hosted by Marcellus Wiley and Emmanuel Acho. He has also added NBA writing duties on the FOX Sports app.
Prior to joining FOX, Bucher spent time working in television for outlets such as ESPN, NBA TV, and CSN Bay Area. He also hosted radio shows for SiriusXM and 95.7 The Game, and contributed as a national writer for Bleacher Report.
