The Mighty 990 in Memphis has named Kevin Davis as its new general manager; the station is owned by syndicated talk show host Todd Starnes.
According to Talkers, Davis was an afternoon host and production director at Radio Training Network’s Christian contemporary WAFJ-FM, Augusta, Georgia.
“Kevin brings more than 36 years of broadcast experience to KWAM. His experience includes a wide variety of radio formats – AC, CHR, Christian, classic rock, classic hits, country, and news/talk radio,” Starnes Media Group said in a statement.
The Mighty 990 features hyper-local programming during weekday mornings, including Wake up Memphis with Tim Van Horn, Bill O’Reilly’s daily update, Sebastian Gorka, and Lars Larson.
