Regular viewers of the NFL Network found on on Wednesday that they will be seeing more from a couple of familiar faces. Kimmi Chex has a new contract and Mike Yam is relocating to Los Angeles. The result for both will be more screen time.
Chex will be featured on some new NFL Network programs in addition to remaining on NFL Fantasy Live and the network’s on-site coverage of multiple events. She will also continue to host on Twitch during Amazon’s coverage of Thursday Night Football.
Details of Chex’s new contract were not released other than to say it was a multi-year deal. She has been part of NFL Network since 2019.
The details of Mike Yam’s increased role are also not available. He has been living in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he initially moved to join the PAC-12 Networks.
Yam has been at NFL Network since 2020. He has made appearances on multiple television shows. He has also hosted a podcast with Aditi Kinkhabwala called NFL Explained.
