CNN continues to announce content for their upcoming stream platform CNN+, which will debut in the spring. The latest contributing is CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer will host “The Newscast with Wolf Blitzer.”
“On “The Newscast,” Blitzer will give it to you straight, hitting the headlines you need to know on this traditional evening news show with a sleek, modern twist,” CNN said in a statement.
“The old-school nostalgic approach featuring original reporting from around the world, investigations, and consumer-focused stories that matter help put the latest headlines in perspective.”
Blitzer will continue to host CNN’s “The Situation Room,” which provides the audience with in-depth reports about the day’s political, international, and breaking news stories.
It’s CNN’s second announcement this week regarding content coming to the network’s streaming platform.
The cable news channel welcomed former NBA player Rex Champman to host an upcoming program where he’ll have “intimate conversations with athletes, entertainers, and everyday heroes as Chapman looks for the silver lining beyond today’s toughest headlines.”
