Ed Werder criticized Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones last week. The ESPN reporter took exception to the fact that Jones would not conduct an end of season press conference to give reporters the chance to ask questions but did participate in an impromptu interview with 105.3 The Fan, the team’s flagship station.
After the interview ended, Shan Shariff took to Twitter to congratulate the station’s mid day show, K and C Masterpiece for their work and threw a shot at Werder in the process.
That was the beginning of a long back-and-forth between the two.
Werder clearly wasn’t the only Dallas-based reporter annoyed with Jerry Jones’s decision. Tim Cowlishaw also addressed Shariff’s defense of his colleagues. Shan Shariff quickly fired back.
