Several months after Harrisburg-based talk host Ken Matthews announced a long-term deal with syndicator Talk Media Network, several stations have jumped on board to carry his show.
The growing list of markets currently airing his show includes Cedar Rapids, IA (KRQN 107.1); Smith, NV (KSVL 92.3); Dallas, TX (KBDT 1160); Colorado Springs, CO (KPPF 1040 & 957); Charlevoix & Traverse City, MI (WMKT 1270); Petoskey, MI (WMKT 102.3); and WHP 580 in Harrisburg, PA.
Matthews is best known for his fill-in work on the Rush Limbaugh Show. Matthews was the last show of the show before it officially ended following the death of Rush Limbaugh.
Last year, he told Barrett News Media that he wasn’t surprised when he wasn’t selected to replace the late Rush Limbaugh permanently.
“I was never in that conservation, but I was very happy when they asked me to continue doing the show after he passed away,” Matthews said.
