MSNBC and NBC News legal analyst Katie Phang is growing her presence at the company. The network announced she’ll be in the hosting chair for a couple of days during the week on Peacock and then transition to weekend host over on MSNBC.
Phang will host MSNBC Saturdays and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. ET, starting April 9. Then she’ll make her debut a live show on Peacock’s “The Choice” on Thursdays and Fridays from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET, beginning April 14.
According to MSNBC, both of the shows will draw on Phang’s “expertise and unique perspective to help audiences break down the headlines driving the day in Washington and around the country. Her show will explore the intersections of race, law, politics, culture, and more, and will feature interviews with the nation’s top newsmakers.”
Phang has served as an analyst with the NBCUniversal News Group since 2017 and will be broadcasting the two shows from the Telemundo Center in Miami.
“I am thrilled to announce the launch of my new shows on both @MSNBC and on @peacockTV!” Phang tweeted.
“I am grateful for this opportunity to continue to work with some of the very best in the business, and even more importantly, to be able to spend more time with all of YOU!”
