Comedian and late-night host Bill Maher will have a one-hour HBO comedy special, “#Adulting,“ which airs this spring, but no exact date or time has yet to be announced.
“#Adulting” marks the 12th special that Maher will do with HBO, which is over 30 years since his first special on the network in 1989.
The taping for this special will occur Friday, March 4, and Saturday, March 5, at the 2400-seat Fillmore Theater in Miami. Those attending the event must have received a negative Covid-19 test within 72 hours of the HBO special or be fully vaccinated.
Maher serves as the writer/EP for the special, with Ryan Polito directing. Other executive producers include Marc Gurvitz and John Irwin, with Casey Spira as co-executive producer.
Along with doing this special for HBO, Maher is best known for hosting his late-night talk show “Real Time with Bill Maher,” which is currently in its 20th season.
The show will be crossing the 20th season mark as it was renewed for two more seasons through 2024 in late September.
