NFL Draft analyst Matt Miller is joining ESPN as a full-time contributor. Miller signed on with the network last year in the lead-up to the NFL Draft, but will now be providing content on a year-round basis.
ESPN announced on Tuesday that Miller will appear across network platforms, including Get Up, SportsCenter, NFL Live, in addition to several mock draft specials and ESPN Radio. But most of his draft analysis will be available as premium content on ESPN+.
“After my first experience with ESPN during last year’s NFL Draft coverage, I am so excited to join the team to offer NFL analysis full-time,” Miller said in ESPN’s official announcement. “Being a regular on some of the ESPN studio shows I grew up watching will be a highlight of my career – truly a dream come true all over again.”
With Miller returning, ESPN has plenty of NFL Draft content for ESPN+ subscribers and its network platforms. Mel Kiper and Todd McShay are already entrenched, of course, and Jordan Reid also recently joined the network to provide draft analysis.
Miller established himself at Bleacher Report, where he was a lead writer from 2010 through 2021. After leaving B/R, he launched his own platform, The Draft Scout, with content on Substack and YouTube, in addition to sports radio and podcasts.
Whether or not Miller will still produce for those outlets isn’t clear, but it seems likely that all of his work from here on out will be available on ESPN platforms.
The 2022 NFL Draft is scheduled for April 28-30 in Las Vegas.
