Syndicated talk host Joe ‘Pags’ Pagliarulo announced that he would no longer host a weekend show named after him in addition to his rapidly growing daily show.
“The Joe Pags Show” is a daily news/talk show from 5-8 pm Central from Flagship News Radio 1200 WOAI in San Antonio and broadcast on over 125 affiliate stations nationwide.
“The Weekend with Joe Pags” was on the air for more than a decade. “I’ve done this show for 12 years now, and that’s a long time,” said Pags. “I made the decision earlier this week to stop doing the weekend because I work six days a week.
Pags said that during his daily show, in concert with his weekend show, it became a “burden.” He said 12 years ago. As a result, four hosts were getting a shot to do the weekend show.
“I wasn’t sure that I could continue to bring my best every Saturday like I did for the last 12 years,” he added. “Believe me; you’ve gotten the best show out of me for 12 years.”
Pags thanked his syndicator Premiere Networks, for taking a chance on him and allowing to do the show the way he wanted.
“I feel grateful and honored that I was able to do this show on the weekend for 12 years,” he said.
