Shan and RJ took aim at multiple ESPN personalities on Thursday morning on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas. Both Dan Orlovsky and Max Kellerman went under the microscope for comments the duo deemed ridiculous.
It led to a simple question: Who at ESPN is still worth listening to?
Orlovsky picked the Philadelphia Eagles to win the NFC East this year and his reasoning “left Cowboys fans rolling their eyes” according to the crew. Later they dissected Kellerman questioning whether or not Tiger Woods could be an elite athlete when we don’t know “how fast he runs or how high he jumps.”
“I hate when people get real stupid and real technical with the argument,” Shan Shariff said.
They then took turns naming elite athletes whose 40 times and max jumps are not relevant to their sport. Among them were Muhammad Ali, Connor McGregor and Michael Phelps. That led Shariff to ask what happened to Kellerman.
“Some people are just morons and Max fits the bill,” RJ Choppy responded.
Shan Shariff then questioned who at ESPN was still worth listening to when they offered an opinion.
“I don’t trust Max. I don’t trust Stephen A. I want to trust Dan Orlovsky, but I wonder if he’s been influenced,” he said.
He and Choppy agreed that Marcus Spears, Mina Kimes, and Michael Wilbon still offer sound opinions on what happens both on and off the field.
What is the point of this article? That one local host disagrees with a few national ones? This website it quickly becoming a waste of time
When media members discuss other media brands, individuals or issues, we cover them. Pretty simple. If not interested in the article, that’s ok. There are plenty of others on the site.
