“Who would play you in a movie” is a game everyone in radio has played at some point on the air. Friday, that was a topic of conversation between Colin Cowherd and Joy Taylor as the duo discussed Mark Wahlberg telling Greg Hill that he is confident he could pay Bill Belichick if given the opportunity.
Taylor asked Cowherd who could play him if The Herd ever became a movie or TV show. The host knew his answer right away. He just couldn’t come up with the guy’s name.
“There’s a guy out there. His name is Will something. He has a real popular podcast,” he answered.
Once Colin Cowherd finally came up with the name Will Arnett, he revealed that Arnett had been given the chance to play Cowherd before. Ten years ago, there was a sitcom based on Cowherd’s life in development. Arnett was the production team’s pick to star, but project was rejected by then-head of CBS Les Moonves.
“Now, he’s better looking obviously, but Will Arnett is pointy,” Cowherd said. “I’m pointy. He’s a better looking, but I am very British and pointy.”
So who would play Joy Taylor? She was coy. When Cowherd asked she said it was something she had never really thought about.
