Author and political commentator Andrew Sullivan joined Megyn Kelly on SiriusXM Tuesday to discuss his appearance on Jon Stewart’s Apple TV+ show earlier this year.
“The Megyn Kelly Show” host did not mince words as she described her past experiences with Stewart. She also expressed some frustration with how she felt Stewart treated Sullivan.
Kelly described Stewart as “not an honest broker.”
“I said on the air that — I didn’t like him and that he wasn’t an honest broker and that he hid behind the veil of ‘I’m a comedian’ to offer a lot of bulls–t without any accountability,” Kelly said.
In 2013, Stewart blasted Kelly for calling Santa Claus “white.” According to E! Online, Stewart disputed Kelly’s assertion that Santa is white and called her audience “narrow.”
“I think people tend to be more reasonable and maybe even a little bit more conservative as they get older, not Jon Stewart, man,” Kelly said Tuesday. “To say he is on board the woke train is to understate what we saw on that show.”
Kelly called Stewart’s attack on Sullivan an “ambush,” adding, “They treated you like David Duke had shown up!”
Sullivan appeared on Stewart’s show to discuss the current state of America. The title of that particular show was “The Trouble with White people.”
