Reggie Bush isn’t going to knock College GameDay, but he has no problem telling you he is on the better college football pregame show.
The FOX college football analyst sat down with Kyle Koster of The Big Lead recently. He spoke proudly of Big Noon Kickoff, saying the quality of the show should be clear to viewers.
“I hope they see we’re the most relevant college football show,” he said.
He did compare his show to ESPN’s more popular offering. He noted that in terms of individual accomplishment, FOX has the star power of two Heisman Trophies and five national championships on its panel.
“They know what they’re talking about. The viewer can trust that the analyst knows what he’s talking about. I can’t say the same for other shows.”
Like College GameDay, Big Noon Kickoff will hit the road this year. Reggie Bush says that the show will not shy away from showing the more fun, irreverent parts of fan culture. FOX gets that it is a major part of what makes college football special.
“We bring the fun side to college football, he said. “Our fans are amazing. They love our show and they support us and that’s why I think we’re the No. 1 college football show on TV.”
Big Noon Kickoff enters its fourth season this year. Reggie Bush has been on the show from day 1 alongside Rob Stone, Brady Quinn, and Matt Leinart. While no official announcement has been made, it is expected that Urban Meyer will return to the show this year after one year away coaching the Jacksonville Jaguars.
