Stephanie Ruhle: Elon Musk Behaves ‘Like a Bully’

MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle was on the receiving end of a viral exchange on Twitter with Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Wednesday.

During her show, “The 11th Hour,” Ruhle called out the entrepreneur without mentioning what occurred on the social media platform, leading to the host calling Musk a “bully.”

Furthermore, she stated that rather than using his voice to punch down and make memes, such as the ones poking fun at Hunter Biden, Musk could use his voice and platform to do more good than harm.

“Last year he shared with the world that he has Asperger’s. It was vulnerable and it was inspiring. Which is why it baffles me that a man literally on top of the world would ever waste his time punching down. Why not spend the earned influence and capital he has to lift people up. Rather than to behave like a bully,” Ruhle said.

“He is an unconventional guy, and there are tons of good reasons to break tradition and change the game. But I see absolutely no reason to give up on common decency. If anyone can do this, if anyone can actually unite us to do good, it might actually be Elon Musk.”

Musk currently finds himself in a legal battle with Twitter, which is suing the Tesla CEO over his attempt to back out of a deal.
