College football is still six weeks away for CBS Sports but lead play-by-play announcer Brad Nessler will have an opportunity to warm his pipes at the end of July.
Nessler was announced as the Roast Master for the roast of wrestling legend Ric Flair. That is scheduled for July 29th in Nashville. The Roast is part of a weekend that surrounds a match which is being deemed as Flair’s last wrestling match.
Flair and Nessler have a long-established friendship. In 2019, Nessler was a guest at Flair’s 70th birthday party.
The first game scheduled for CBS is September 10th.
