Legendary Kentucky basketball player Jack ‘Goose’ Givens has been elevated to radio color analyst. Givens joined the UK Sports Network in November of 2020 where he co-hosted the team’s pregame radio show alongside Dave Baker.
Givens replaces longtime color analyst Mike Pratt who passed away in June after a lengthy battle with cancer. Pratt had been Kentucky’s radio color analyst for over twenty years. His first assignments will be in mid-August when the team travels to the Bahamas for four-game preseason tour.
Givens led the Wildcats to the 1978 national championship.
