Washington Commanders President Jason Wright made headlines last week after criticizing Scott Abraham, a television reporter for ABC7 in Washington DC, for his conduct during an interview with Commanders quarterback Carson Wentz. During his Monday show on Outkick.com, Don’t @ Me‘s Dan Dakich quoted a statement from FS1’s First Things First host Nick Wright to defend Abraham.

“I see these guys. Every stupid question. Every stupid question gets answered with an answer with a little bit of a joke all the local yocals go ‘ha ha ha ha ha. Knock knock. Ha ha ha ha ha ha’. Thank god, thank god, somebody had the stones to ask about Carson Wentz in a way that people actually wanted to know.

“Carson Wentz answered tougher questions than that in a church about three or four — I don’t know maybe five — weeks ago. Everybody lost their minds. The president of the Commanders got all crabby. He got all crabby. Somebody asked Carson Wentz a tough question. This is what always happens. They’re gonna threaten. “

Dakich then went on the offense to the Commanders president, after he tweeted Abraham shouldn’t “expect special access” and sarcastically wished him luck “building rapport with the guys”.

“So this is the dumbass president who, by the way, one guy told me he doesn’t know his ass from a hot rock as an executive yet. Has all the fancy degrees from Northwestern but Jason Wright? My backside. That’s what an NFL guy told me. So you’re all upset. What am I supposed to do? Just ask really nice questions? Are you just supposed to be like the writers of The Athletic and ask ‘hey, how you doing Matt Ryan?’

“As Nick Wright said, when did it start happening that local media is supposed to be the PR firm or a PR branch of an NFL team? That guy (Scott Abraham) asked great questions! Those are questions that should be asked!”
