During Monday morning’s Morning Joe, host Joe Scarborough criticized The Wall Street Journal after a weekend op-ed about the FBI’s raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence.

An editorial from the newspaper titled “Is That All There Is?“, which argued unless there’s a bombshell in the redactions then the FBI’s decision to raid the former President’s home looks like a poor decision.

Scarborough began reading excerpts of the story during his morning show before asking “Did you really just ask that question? ‘This is why agents descended on a former president’s residence like they would a mob boss?’ Oh, I don’t know, or like they would if somebody took 184 documents with classified markings on them?”

His comments came after a discussion on the classification levels of the documents reportedly taken by the former President. 184 documents were recovered by the FBI, with several including indicating if the contents were revealed, United States spies would be implicated and need to be protected from retribution.

It’s not the first time Scarborough has called out media members for their coverage of the raid. He also criticized FOX News contributors for their on-air reactions the day following the former President’s home was raided.
