Kay Adams left the popular NFL Network morning show Good Morning Football in May. Even though she is now working with FanDuel, it doesn’t mean her time is completely over with the network.
“I love NFL Network and NFL Media,” Adams said. “But as far as opportunities there — we’re still trying. We’re still efforting to get something done because I miss it.”
Adams spent six years hosting Good Morning Football and told the New York Post that she loved her time there but she knew she wanted a new challenge when her contract expired.
“I knew last year that I wasn’t coming back to Good Morning Football,” Adams said. “My contract was up. I didn’t want to renew because I just wanted to try something different.”
“It wasn’t like I left for something,” Adams continued, “you know what it is? I’ll be totally honest with you. I felt like my work there was done. Like, ‘Do I stay here, and it’s comfortable, however many more years, in this job that I love, and is a grind, of course? Or do I just want to see what’s out there?'”
