The debate about what was appropriate started before anyone knew who the reporter that said “maybe if you win I’ll be on time” was. T-Bob Hebert of 104.5 ESPN in Baton Rouge and The Volume wanted to get to the bottom of the mystery.
LSU beat writer Leah Vann, who covers the Bayou Bengals for The Advocate in Baton Rouge said it was her. She added that it was “not my finest hour” and said she already apologized to Brian Kelly.
The sports media was buzzing about the exchange with national personalities and local personalities from markets far away from Louisiana weighing in.
It will be interesting to see what happens as the week goes on. It sounds like Brian Kelly and Leah Vann are square, but does that mean we are done with the story?
