We are just a couple of weeks into the college football season and The Walt Disney Co. has already sold more than 90% of its ad inventory for the season.
Sources told Front Office Sports that the company’s coverage of college football on ABC and ESPN this year should surpass $700 million in ad revenue.
“No one can offer what we offer from a distribution standpoint for sports — but college football specifically,” said Jim Minnich, VP of revenue and yield management for Disney Advertising Sales.
