The NHL’s Anaheim Mighty Ducks have jumped into the digital streaming waters by launching Ducks Stream, their new streaming network.
The team announced that the 24/7 network Ducks Stream will carry play-by-play of all Ducks games and will offer exclusive podcasts and offer up-to-date news on the team and NHL. The space will also offer ten unique podcasts that will be available on demand and via the stream. Also on-demand audio from the network will include game replays.
“We’re excited to launch one of the most innovative audio networks in sports,” Ducks Club President Aaron Teats said in a release. “Partnering with TuneIn gives fans increased access to our content on a round-the-clock basis, including programming hosted by players.”
“The Anaheim Ducks have one of the most passionate fan bases in the NHL,” TuneIn CEO Richard Stern said in a release. “Our partnership with them means that no member of the flock will ever have to miss a moment of action on the ice, regardless of where they are.”
The Mighty Ducks will still air on their flagship station KLAA Los Angeles, which is owned by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
