Seattle’s KTTH is hosting an event called the 2022 Freedom Series: March to the Midterms.
Talk show host Jason Rantz announced the debate on his show Wednesday. He said the event will take place on Oct. 12th at the Carco Theatre in Renton, Washington.
“We will dive into some of the biggest issues that are facing the country as we head to the midterm elections which is why we called this Freedom Series, March to the Midterms.”
Rantz said that the last three times that KTTH hosted a Freedom Series, the events were sold out.
“The last one that we had was right before COVID,” Rantz said. We were talking last year about bringing the Freedom Series back, which is a ticketed event, and you get to hang out with us, have conversations, listen to a vigorous debate, have lots of fun.”
Rantz added that now we are in an endemic stage it’s easier to find venues that are willing to host public events like Freedom Series.
“We’ve chosen a theatre for an event so we can do things that we used to,” he said. “Which brings a whole bunch of people with shared values and people who disagree with us as well and have really vigorous discussions.”
