Antonio MacBeath, the afternoon host of The Bullpen on WUMP in Huntsville, Alabama is stepping away from his position to pursue another opportunity.
MacBeath made the announcement via his Twitter account, thanking listeners to his program for their support. MacBeath was also the program director of the station and he will be leaving that post as well.
MacBeath is joining the Rocket City Trash Pandas in a full-time capacity. The Trash Pandas are the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. MacBeath is currently also the team’s public address announcer. His last day with WUMP is Friday, September 30.
