Skyview Networks To Remotely Produce Tampa Bay Rays Games During Hurricane Ian

Skyview Networks has announced it will remotely produce Tampa Bay Rays radio broadcasts from Arizona due to Florida office closures as a result of Hurricane Ian.

The Rays have utilized Skyview Networks for more than a decade, and the network’s software allows them flexibility to shift the location of their broadcast facilities. Hurricane Ian is approaching landfall in the greater Tampa area Wednesday, with winds reaching nearly category five levels.

“Skyview Networks is a proud, longtime partner of the Tampa Bay Rays and we are glad to step in for their production team so they can focus on Hurricane Ian,” said Andrew Kalb, SVP Business Development and Communication of Skyview Networks. “Our operations team is diligently working to ensure that the Rays play-by-play remains uninterrupted this week and we are proud to have the technical support and software that allows us to step in wherever necessary.”

The Rays are currently in Cleveland to face the Guardians. That series ends Thursday before the squad goes to Houston and finishes the season in Boston.
