After an explosive report from ESPN revealed Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder had “dirt” on other NFL owners and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, many wondered how Amazon Prime Video and Al Michaels would handle the news during its Thursday Night Football broadcast of the Commanders game.
Longtime NFL play-by-play announcer Al Michaels addressed the report, among many of Snyder’s other transgressions, and had pointed comments about his future as a league owner.
“What the league would love is for Snyder to sell the team,” Michaels said. “Not have it go to a vote, but sell the team. He’s just become a major problem around the league, obviously.”
