Erick Erickson: Joe Scarborough Commands Morning News

The morning news wars are an ongoing battle between networks as CNN recently revamped their A.M. coverage, but MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” remains atop the fight due to their influence, at least that’s what radio host Erick Erickson says.

On Tuesday, Erickson tweeted that if anyone wants to catch the attention of “the who’s who of power brokers” in the morning, they’re joining Joe Scarborough to discuss whatever topics are essential for them.

“@JoeNBC continues to command the mornings,” Erickson said. “His audience is not as big as others, but if you want to catch the who’s who of power brokers, he’s who they’re all watching.”

Furthermore, Erickson elaborated on his experience when he joined other morning shows compared to when he appeared on “Morning Joe” and the responses he received after going on the MSNBC program.

“When I appear on Fox & Friends, I get a lot of feedback from a ton of people across the country,” Erickson added. “When I’ve appeared in the past on Morning Joe, the newsmakers and policymakers in DC and NYC are the ones who email.”

As mentioned, CNN is attempting to compete with Scarborough and “Morning Joe” as they have Don Lemon, Poppy Harlow, and Kaitlan Collins hosting their new morning show as the network attempts to cut the gap between them and MSNBC.
