Los Angeles-based radio station KFI will have their on-air personality Bill Handel having special hosting duties, The Museum of Broadcast Communications announced on Tuesday.
Handel will be the Master of Ceremonies for the 2022 Radio Hall of Fame induction ceremony. The KFI is a 2017 Inductee in the Radio Hall of Fame, so he’s no stranger to how special the night is for many in attendance.
“The Radio Hall of Fame will recognize its 2022 class of inductees at the in-person 2022 Radio Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Tuesday, November 1st, at Chicago’s Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel,” The Museum of Broadcast Communications said in a press release.
“The induction ceremony and dinner will also feature messages prepared for the event by Ryan Seacrest, Donnie Simpson, Jim Kerr, Tom Joyner, Mike Francesa, Stephen A. Smith, Rick Cummings, Beth Bacall, and Charlie Cook.”
Skyview Networks is a participating sponsor of the sold-out event, with the Radio Hall of Fame being founded in 1988 and The Museum of Broadcast Communications taking over operations in 1991.
