John Oliver: Dinesh D’Souza Exemplifies ‘Nonsense’ of Conservative Media

Radio host and podcaster Dinesh D’Souza recently had his documentary “2000 Mules” spotlight claims that operatives submitted fraudulent ballots in 2020.

HBO and “Last Week Tonight” host John Oliver tore into D’Souza during a segment informing his viewers about how some elected officials might try to negate legitimate election results.

“If you’re not a regular consumer of conservative media you may not realize the extent to which Biden stole the election has taken hold,” Oliver said on his Sunday night show.

“And on the basis of incredibly flimsy evidence perhaps best exemplified by “2000 Mules,” a documentary from conservative bulls–t artist Dinesh D’Souza, which is just wall-to-wall nonsense.”

Oliver then played a clip of the film that has garnered recognition by some running for political office or already in a government position, but the late-night host then proceeded to mock the documentary.

“So intense. Mysterious handoffs in dark alleys. People with bad reputations. It’s nice that we finally have an answer to the question what if “The Wire” was created by Virgins.”
