The holiday season is here and iHeartMedia talk KFI Los Angeles (640) is ready to kick off its annual event that provides meals to children in need in Southern California.
“KFI PastaThon” campaign to benefit Caterina’s Club, a local charity and the radio station will also encourage their listeners to donate money, pasta, and sauce to the charity.
Additionally, KFI has partnered with Wendy’s, offering customers a donation option from Nov. 16-Dec. 4 at all 168 Southern California locations. In addition, on Nov. 29, “Giving Tuesday,” Wendy’s will donate $1 from every Frosty sold to the “KFI PastaThon.”
“We are so delighted to have Wendy’s partner with us on our efforts to feed Southern California kids,” PD Robin Bertolucci said in a release (h/t Inside Radio).
“Because of generous partners like Wendy’s, Chef Bruno is feeding over 25,000 kids every week. As we embark upon our 12th annual KFI PastaThon we know the need is bigger than ever but so are the hearts of our listeners and partners. Our goal this year is to once again raise over a million dollars. Thank you to Wendy’s for helping us make that dream a reality.”
