After a bout with Covid-19, “The View’s” Whoopi Goldberg returned to her co-hosting duties on the show. However, she stated that this go-around with the virus was challenging.
In her return to the midday show, Goldberg preached that although there are Covid shots and boosters, it’s still a virus many should take seriously.
“You can get boosted within an inch of your life and then the next thing you know you got Covid again,” Goldberg said. “But I don’t have it now and that’s why I’m back at the table.”
Goldberg wore a shirt that read “Over It” as she went into detail about how it really knocked “The View” co-host off her feet this time.
“I will tell you, we’re used to people saying, ‘Oh [Covid] isn’t that bad [now]’, but this was a rough one,” Goldberg said. “The true thing is, if you really want to protect yourself you probably need to keep the mask on a little more than you want to.”
