Hugh Hewitt mockingly “thanked” CNN This Morning anchor Don Lemon for his “rude, unprofessional treatment” of former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Len Khodorkovsky, who served in the Trump Administration.
In a Twitter thread, Hewitt said seeing the interview from Lemon with Kodorkovsky led to him being booked as a guest on Hewitt’s Salem Media Group morning show.
Khodorkovsky was a guest on CNN This Morning on Monday, November 28th. He condemned former President Trump’s meeting with Kanye West and Nick Fuentes, who have both used anti-Semitic remarks and tropes.
During the interview, Lemon repeatedly questioned and interrupted Khodorkovsky in a contentious back-and-forth that included the former Trump administration official saying “I didn’t realize I was on the witness stand here, Don” after Lemon interrupted one of his answers with “It’s a yes or a no”.
Lemon repeatedly accused Khodorkovsky of “whataboutism” during the nearly 10-minute interview.
