Good Morning America anchors T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach have caused quite the stir over their alleged infidelity with one another, and 77WABC host Greg Kelly said while what happens between them in their personal lives truly is a personal matter, they shouldn’t enjoy their newfound fame like they are.
“I thought, ‘Ok, they hooked up at work’,” Kelly said. “Unfortunately, it happens. I’ve heard of that happening. I’ve heard of people with too much time on their hands — that sit right next to each other for a long period of time — that sometimes hooking up happens. Even when they’re married. That’s regrettable. But it’s not for me to judge, it’s not for you to judge. I think it’s between those individuals, their spouses, and god.
“Yet, here’s why I decided to talk about it…but it was their actions when they went back on TV. They were giggling about it. And then they were finding innuendo when there was no innuendo. Stupid kinda crap. They were very much enjoying their notoriety. I take issue with that. I also take issue with what crummy broadcasters they are.”
Kelly concluded by mentioning he didn’t appreciate other media members backing the relationship, adding “in a shameless society, a little shame is good”.
