Former KGO host Pat Thurston appears to have landed on her feet. She’s now a News Anchor at KCBS Radio, according to her Twitter bio.
On December 1st, Thurston tweeted that she had begun training for the new gig at KCBS radio. It seems now she’s fully entrenched into the position after leaving KGO.
“Starting training today for my new gig at KCBS Radio, San Francisco!” Thurston tweeted. “By the way, KGO’s ratings tanked. A whopping 0.3. Numbers had shown steady increases before, even without any support from parent company, decimation of staff, salary cuts and zero marketing.”
Some shows that were once on KGO have found a home on YouTube. Among them, “The Mark Thompson Show,” “The Nikki Medoro Show,” and “What The Franklin”.
The station flipped from news/talk to a sports gambling format in October.
