Conservative media pundit Tomi Lahren has not been proud of the work Republicans have done in Congress this week, and made her feelings known during her digital show on OutKick Wednesday.
Congressional Republicans have failed to elect Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) as Speak of the House after — as of this publication — eight votes, and Lahren argued that media outlets are trying to make Republicans look worse.
“I know these last few days may not have been our best and brightest, at least that’s how it appears to the Democrats and much of the rest of the country, but allow me to try to put lipstick on a pig here…the messy elephant in the room, or should I say the entire U.S. House, is that our first few days with our slim majority have been a little rough,” Lahren argued. “I’ve been hard on our Republican leaders and you have too because the mainstream media and Democrats hacks make us look bad even when we look good, so the last thing we need to do is do the work for them.”
Lahren then launched into an unrelated attack of new Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) for her thoughts that Fetterman is unfit for office.
