Todd Starnes: Media Slandered Lynette Hardway After Her Death

Syndicated radio host and author Todd Starnes said Tuesday that many left-leaning pundits have pounced on the death of commentator Lynette Hardaway aka Diamond.

Hardaway and her partner Herneith Rochelle Hardaway Richardson — AKA Silk — rose to prominence for their staunch support of former President Donald Trump.

“Diamond was a friend and we’re going to miss her a lot,” Starnes said as his voice started to tremble. “Diamond and Silk did a lot for this nation. They were devoted to President Trump, but I really think they were devoted to the agenda.”

Starnes said that when people die in the political world you can really tell who a person is by other people’s reactions. He criticized a headline in Hip Hop Wired that read: “MAGA Buffoons Diamond & Silk’s Lynette Hardaway Dead After COVID Hospitalization, Twitter States the Obvious.”

“The passing of Diamond gives us a chance to go inside the evil, sick, minds of the left,” Starnes said. “They basically slander this woman.”

Starnes said he was close with Diamond and Silk dating back to his days at Fox News.

“When they were in New York they would always come in,” he said. “We would always have fun conversations. One of the things I used to love to do is get them off topic.”

“We are going to miss Lynette and I think the nation is going to miss Diamond and I know many of you were motivated and inspired to get involved by them.”
