The 107th running of the Indianapolis 500 is 100 days away, and NBC Sports has already plotted its coverage plans for the race, as Mike Tirico and Danica Patrick are returning to host the event for the network.
Tirico has hosted NBC Sports’ studio coverage of the event since its debut on the network in 2019. He will once again be joined by Patrick — a former INDYCAR driver who finished her career with six top-ten finishes in the event — for the 107th running of the event.
The INDYCAR booth for NBC Sports will remain unchanged in 2023, with Leigh Diffey providing play-by-play and Townsend Bell and James Hinchcliffe continuing as analysts.
2022 saw the most-watched season for the INDYCAR Series in the past six years. The 2023 schedule begins on Sunday, March 5th with the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.
